The Best Laid Plans

As the saying goes 'even the best laid plans can fail' or words to that effect. Last week I intended finalising the narration of my audiobook Styles Magic Academy and also do the cover and the ebook. This all went wrong when life interfered with unexpected appointments and dizzy spells. So now I'm hoping to get it done by next week. Wish me luck!
Styles Magic Academy is only short as it's a prequel, an introduction to the first book of the series - Broken Spire. Rak Shoma books will definitely get new covers as I wasn't happy with the ones I have now. Most of the books are available in my own shop Caishelbooks.com but they are also available on Amazon.
I've sorted out prices in my online shop Caishelbooks.com and there are a few romance ones at 99 cents. As well as my own shop I'm going to concentrate on 'wide' online shops such as Kobo, Barnes and Noble, Apple etc. As mentioned in the last newsletter Kobo Plus acts in a similar manner to Kindle Unlimited but authors are not restricted - ie they do not have to obey an exclusivity clause for ebooks or audiobooks. Their prices are reasonable and it means you aren't restricted to authors who only sell on Amazon. A lot of indie authors now sell on their own online shops, which means they cannot put their books on Kindle Unlimited but they can on Kobo Plus. It's a shame, but that's the way it is.
The Rak Shoma books are not presently available on Caishel Books but will be as soon as the new covers are done.
My other project is a Christmas romance/murder book. Hope to get it released in November.
