Kaitlyn is tasked with caring for Uncle Clive in the village of Deden. He suffers from dementia. Kaitlyn and her uncle settle into a peaceful routine, but are met with resentment from the home help. She also discovers the village harbors many secrets of its villagers' past. Noah, Clive's social worker, helps her but Kaitlyn wonders if his intentions are purely professional.
