Riley rushes over the road. Brakes screech and everything goes dark. She wakes and is greeted by a lemon-colored sun and a sky of pale lilac, and realises she's not on Earth. The planet is Sacral where the psychic inhabitants mean to get rid of the non-psychic Mutes. The magic of Sacral is dying. Riley is determined to help save the magic and the Mutes.
